DIY Drop Earrings with Jade Beads and Chains

Materials needed in making bead drop earring:
   White drop jade bead
   Mashan jade bead
   Czech bicone glass bead
   Copper wire
   Eyepins
   Earring hooks
   Iron cross chains

 Instructions on making drop earring with jade beads and chains:

    Step 1: Make a beaded string with chains

    1st, prepare a copper wire, 8 jade beads and five chains, the five chains consist of two 3cm chains, two 4cm chains and one 5cm chain;
    2nd, start with stringing 2 jade beads and a 3cm chain, then add beads and chains alternately as the picture shows, pay attention to the chains’ length order.

 Step 2:  Make drop earrings dangle.

   1st,slide a drop jade bead to a 4cm-copper wire, then wrap the both wire ends below the first two jade bead on two sides

  2nd, thread a jade bead to one end of the copper wire and then thread to the other end. Pull the two ends of the wire until the jade bead fix right above the 8 jade beads;

 3rd, twist the copper wire together and make a loop by round nose plier, wrap the rest wire round the loop, and then conceal the ends in case of stabbing your skin;

4th, make five bicone glass bead links by using eyepins;

 5th, attach five glass bead links to five chains respectively.

Step 3: Finish the DIY bead drop earrings.

  1st, attach earring hook to the bead drop dangle;
  2nd, repeat the above steps to make the other earring.
